The Lobo 912 is a multi-purpose wireless networking server with all the high end features that professional production deployments need. The Lobo 912 is based on a single standard output radio that combined with its extraordinary receive sensibility, that ranges from -105.0dBi to -71.0dBi, makes solid long distance high speed wireless links possible.
The bonding features of the Lobo 912 give also an important added performance, the Lobo can bond two simultaneous wireless channels into a single transparent link which is in fact like having the speed of two links in a single device, giving an effective channel width for data of 40MHz instead of the industry standard of 20MHz
Its propietary Linux based operating system and graphic and dual graphic/console interface enables network administrators to control each and every aspect of the network performance and quality of services, from connection priorities to bandwidth control.
With the Lobo 912 users can deploy the safest networks available with its advanced encryption algorithms and its wide range of VPN tunneling protocols, including IPSec server and client. Naturally, standard and advanced 802 encriptions like WEP, WPA and WPA are also available. The Lobo 912 also incorporates an unique extra security feature, it can stablish wireless links at non standard frequencies, for example, a standard 802.11a system connects in frequencies 5200Hz, 5220Hz,..., instead it can connect at intermediate non-standard frequencies like 5205, 5210, 5215,... using intermediate frequencies our network becomes invisible to starndard wireless equipment.
The Lobo 912 comes fitted in the new Lobometrics HD AlMgSi alloy enclosure, a watertight casing capable of an unequalled level of heat dissipation, that in combination with its industrial grade electronics ensures a fault free continuous full speed operation in any outdoor environment..The enclosure provides one industry standard N-Female connector for plugging external antennas
The Lobo 912 also includes some exclusive features like redundancy (if one main link fails it can be configured to automatically connect to a backup link), programable static routes (having several default gateways and sending data to one or the other based on user defined rules), special WDS modes that avoid starndard WDS transparent links speed loss due to retransmission, OSPF, STP, internal backups, automatic restores in case of sabotage so the network and the control of the device can be restored after unauthorised manipulation, system configuracion replciation for big deployments, automatic link optimization, hot spot services,...
