The Tsunami MP.11 5012-SUR is a new outdoor subscriber unit offering WiMAX capabilities for 5.15-5.35 GHz, 5.47-5.725 GHz and 5.725-5.850 GHz license-free frequency bands. Based on 12 Mbps aggregate throughput, it delivers speeds comparable to or better then cable or DSL. Delivering parallel quality, performance and reliability to all products in the Tsunami MP.11 family, the 5012-SUR features include AES encryption, mobile roaming with fast handoff speeds up to 200 km per hour, Dynamic Data Rate Selection (DDRS) and QoS support.

Ideal for large scale wireless broadband deployments, the outdoor subscriber is designed and priced to offer an aggressive ROI for any service provider or network operator and lowers the customer’s cost barrier for wireless access. Housed in a rugged enclosure with an integrated 18 dBi flat panel antenna, the unit can be deployed in extreme weather conditions. Offering a truly scalable broadband network, the 5012-SUR can be deployed and incorporated into any existing MP.11 network within hours.
